District exhibits in this section qualify for points for the Shilstone Perpetual Challenge Cup
All Classes are OPEN
ALL EXHIBITORS TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SAFELY PENNING THEIR OWN STOCK – PENNING WILL BE PROVIDED. Judging commences at 10.15a.m. – Entry Fee £3.00
Judge :Mr. P. Holman, Sticklepath, Okehampton. Prizes 1st £15 2nd £10 3rd £8
Class 121 Suckler Cow – any breed or cross with her own calf at foot.
Calf to be under 10 months old with passport
122 Heifer, any breed or cross, in calf or with calf at foot. 123 Best Calf as exhibited in Class 121/123
Perpetual Rose Bowl for winner presented by Major I.L Wills – Bull calves are eligible.
The Lydstone Perpetual Trophy presented by Mr. R. C.Young MRCVS for the Champion Couple in Classes 121/123
124 Maiden Heifer – any breed or cross. Not exceeding 20 months of age. Passport.
125 Group of Cow & Calf, Heifer & Calf and Maiden Heifer

The Shilstone Perpetual Challenge Cup presented by Mr. J.A. Palmes for the
District exhibitor gaining the highest number of points in the Agricultural Classes.
A Special Prize of £10 will be awarded for the Best Pure Bred Native British Breed
entered in Classes 121, 122, 123 & 124

The Leonard Bromell Memorial Perpetual Cup presented to the Best Local Exhibitor in Classes 121 – 124

Cups not finally won at last year’s Show must be returned to the Cup Secretary
No later than FRIDAY 23rd JULY 2010. Holders are responsible to the Committee for the said Cups,
or their equivalent value should they not be able to return them.
